A timeless cruise to discover the Summer Palace from the lake
A boat ride on Lake Kumming is an unmissable experience, a welcome pause before exploring the gardens and the Summer Palace walking.
Our experience
Participants: 2 adults, 3 children, 1 senior
We waited in a short line (about 20 minutes) to access the electric boat rental because it was very busy that day. Payment was made on site and we left a deposit (refunded on exit).
From the outset the boat was easy to handle and relaxation was immediate.
Being able to take our time and navigate the lake as we pleased was magical. We were able to approach very closely the Marble Boat and the various pagodas along the water's edge.
Children and adults alike loved this cruise.

- Endroit apaisant, observation des oiseaux et des jardins alentours
- Facilité de pilotage car le bateau va très doucement, même les enfants peuvent naviguer
- Vue imprenable sur les palais impériaux et le bateau de Marbre
